Staying safe on the roads is not always easy. But, if drivers do their part, they can lessen the likelihood of being involved in a collision. The Texas Department of Transportation advises motorists to:
1) Drive slowly and to conditions
2) Yield to other drivers.
3) Maintain a safe driving distance.
4) Signal before turning.
5) Do not drive while drinking.
Even prescription and over-the-counter medications can impair your driving abilities. Consult your health care professional and read all labels and warnings prior to driving your car while taking medication.
Unfortunately, sometimes your precautions may be negated by another person’s negligence. If you have been involved in an accident, be certain you are being treated justly. Contact Jeff Davis and have a professional on your side.
